We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused self-starter to supervise the maintenance team and operations at our Brunswick, GA port terminal. This role offers an opportunity to demonstrate mechanical and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the fleet of equipment including forklifts, excavators, front-end loaders, and other operational equipment.
Ensure daily inspections and proper maintenance of equipment for safety and efficiency.
Regularly monitor the terminal to ensure safe and economical equipment operation.
Oversee maintenance and repairs of facilities and terminals.
Utilize the Purchase Order system for procurement, invoicing, and reconciliation.
Schedule and support staff mechanics; manage weekly payroll.
Collaborate with Operations to implement Logistec's HSE policies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operation of industrial engineering equipment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.
Ability to maintain reports on training, safety, and operations.
Proficiency with Windows and maintenance management software.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
