Base pay range $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr Responsibilities

Verify QMS practices, processes, and procedures are adhered to from beginning to end of product realization including, but not limited to: materials verification, print verification, mandatory inspection point and dimensional inspections, customer requirements compliance, first article inspection, operational spot-checks, final product inspection and verification, data package verification, and problem resolution ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient manufacturing operations. Inspect components for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments and examine material or product for surface defects. Create NCR’s as necessary for nonconforming products and processes and follow-up as necessary, capturing cost and schedule impacts, as well as metrics necessary for metrics, control, and improvement. Coordinate information with QHSE Director and others as necessary to ensure complete and efficient communication, action, and recovery to quality issues. Ensure proper drawing revisions are utilized throughout the lifecycle of the orders. Ensure that all quality control requirements are met on every job prior to customer shipment and job closure. Work with adjacent disciplines in project and quality information communication, as well as continual improvement opportunities. Pursue professional development within discipline. Ensure safe manufacturing practices, and keep your work area clean and presentable to customers. Identify unsafe working conditions and implement actions to correct deficiencies. Skills requirements

Team player with good personality, attitude, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use various types of inspection tools (micrometers, Vernier calipers, gauges, etc.). Conceptual and application understanding of seal configuration. Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings, schematics, and Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Be able understand and comprehend quality system procedures, work instructions, and process mapping. Understand ISO 9001 standard requirements Understand API Q1 standard requirements. Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to set up inspection equipment. Proficient English reading level to understand technical terminology used within the company. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface using Microsoft office suite; ability to use Enterprise-wide information systems such as Epicor, Vault and drawing-viewing programs . Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; Ability to work independently being proactive to resolve work issues or notify supervisor of resources needed. Ability to coordinate with other employees and as part of a team. Experience requirements

2+ years’ experience in cylinder manufacturing, inspection, or testing (repair or new manufacturing) Strong mechanical background and knowledge of all Cylinder components to include seal identification and tolerances General hydraulic knowledge Seniority level
