Job Summary & Qualifications We are seeking a RN Program Coordinator to ensure that we continue to provide high‑quality, efficient care. This role works as part of a committed, caring group focused on creating positive patient interactions.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Burn Program Director, collaborate with Burn Leadership to consistently improve and maintain quality burn care throughout all departments and disciplines of the hospital that participate in the burn patient population.
Act as an interdisciplinary liaison between the burn multidisciplinary team members.
Manage and be responsible for concurrent quality assurance.
Facilitate performance improvement, data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data and outcomes for the burn and reconstructive service line based on the American Burn Association’s recommendations for quality as it relates to obtaining and maintaining Burn Center Verification.
Oversee program‑wide process improvement initiatives throughout multiple disciplines.
Assist in the coordination and data tracking of the burn patient’s care throughout the hospital and support the stated mission, vision, and values of HCA HealthONE Swedish and the philosophy of the burn service line.
Qualifications
Current Colorado RN licensure.
ACLS and ABLS status desired.
BSN or bachelor’s degree required. Must show evidence of educational preparation, with a minimum of 16 hours of burn‑related continuing education per year.
At least three years of nursing or healthcare experience in surgical care, critical care, inpatient hospital, emergency department. Experience in Quality Assurance is desired.
Burn care experience desired.
Strong organizational skills.
Appropriate judgment and problem‑solving skills.
Effective time management skills.
Positive and highly professional communication with all internal and external customers.
Computer literate, proficiency in reviewing and abstracting clinical patient information.
Strong interpersonal skills.
