A private, patient-focused dental practice in Beverly Hills is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Compensation:
$20-23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
Full-Time
4 or 5 days per week
Monday to Thursday OR Monday to Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet and check-in/check-out all patients
Answer multi-line phone calls, manage patient inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate team members
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently
Collect and update new patient registration forms and ensure all patient information is accurate in our system
Verify dental insurance eligibility, break down benefits, and explain coverage to patients
Process patient payments, co-pays, and post transactions accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area
Manage office correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail
Support the clinical team and office manager with administrative tasks as needed
Provide occasional back-office support, such as chairside assisting, during rare instances of short staffing (as needed)
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a receptionist in a dental office
A bubbly, outgoing, and professional attitude with strong organizational, multitasking, and computer skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
Back office dental assisting experience is a huge plus
Proficiency with Dentrix software
Knowledge of PPO insurance
