The Medical Assistant provides appropriate care to patients and follows AdventHealth service standards. This includes greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, and assisting providers during treatment and examination. Responsibilities include: Assisting providers during treatment and examination Assisting with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider Performing office duties, including verifying insurance and scheduling appointments Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equivalent Required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required Certification from American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing-Medical Asst (NCMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association for Healthcare Professionals-Medical Asst (NRCMA), or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Required
