The pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services to all Grand River Hospital District (GRHD) services. Compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician’s instructions in a hospital or healthcare facility setting. Consults with medical staff about potential drug interactions, patient medical history, and the use of particular medications. Responds to questions from patients and staff about medications and dosage instructions. Serves as pharmacy representative on interdepartmental committee(s) or may be asked to serve as subject matter expert for projects as needed. Ensures that all required pharmacy data is recorded and maintained and complies with all regulatory, security and hospital procedures. May supervise pharmacy technicians. Performance of these professional functions is generally associated with the practice of pharmacy in the institutional setting. Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Pharmacy Minimum of two years’ experience in hospital pharmacy Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency may be used for the experience requirement What We Offer
Pay Range:
$63.00 - $70.00 an hour. Dependent on experience may vary outside this range Shift Differentials:
$2–$4/hour for nights and weekends PRN Differential:
10% differential in addition to base rate salary Perks:
