Overview
MD or MD/PhD, board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases with focused experience in or dedicated fellowship training in Transplant Infectious Diseases to join the faculty in the role of Clinician Educator or Academic Clinician at the Medical University Hospital main campus and outreach locations. The faculty member will initiate and maintain a clinical, educational, and scholarly effort focused on Transplant Infectious Diseases, including rounding on the inpatient teaching service and attendance at weekly conferences. Interaction with residents, fellows and students is expected. Clinical research opportunities are available. Responsibilities
Provide clinical care and education in Transplant Infectious Diseases. Rounding on inpatient teaching service and participation in weekly conferences. Engage with residents, fellows and medical students for educational activities. Develop and participate in clinical research opportunities related to Transplant Infectious Diseases. Qualifications
