Position Overview Are you a Civil Design Engineer who thrives on hands-on project work? This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and close-knit team focused on delivering meaningful transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. While roadway and bridge design is the greatest need, candidates with strong backgrounds in
water/wastewater
or
municipal/infrastructure site design
are also encouraged to apply. This position is design-driven — ideal for engineers who prefer “doing” the work while still mentoring others and influencing project outcomes.

Direct-hire opportunity, $100k–$130k depending on experience and licensure

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop projects in your core discipline (roadway/bridge, water/wastewater, or municipal infrastructure)
Collaborate with project teams and provide occasional support for client presentations or technical Q&A
Mentor and oversee work assignments for junior engineers and technical staff
Utilize Civil 3D for design deliverables; MicroStation experience a plus
Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as AASHTO, MUTCD, ODOT, and municipal design guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; strong EITs with 5+ years of design experience may be considered
5+ years of progressive design experience in at least one of the following areas:
Roadway and bridge design (primary need)
Water and wastewater systems
Municipal site design/infrastructure
Proficiency in Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is helpful but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and mentorship
