Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a
Sales Engineer
in the
Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky
region. Our client,
that\'s a metal manufacturer , is a global leader in press drive technology, providing custom manufacturing solutions for the industrial and automotive sectors for over 40 years. The
Sales Engineer
is responsible for driving sales activity and managing customer relationships by offering technical solutions for press, fastening, and joining applications. Responsibilities of a Sales Engineer include:
Developing and maintaining customer relationships across the assigned territory
Uncovering customer applications and identifying project opportunities
Recommending solutions in collaboration with the Application Engineering team
Reporting customer/project activity to internal sales and engineering departments
Promoting solutions from end users to integrators
Acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales and production cycle
Job Requirements of a Sales Engineer:
Ability to travel regularly (60–80%) throughout OH/IN/KY
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven ability to work cross-functional with project teams and customers
Customer service and order management experience
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical sales experience
3–5 years of experience in Engineering, Business Development, or B2B Sales
Mechanical/electrical aptitude – ability to read and interpret blueprints
Familiarity with control systems and industry standards (ISO, DIN, SAE, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
US Work Authorization required
Compensation:
$95,000– $110,000 base + commission Benefits:
