Job Summary Under the supervision of the department Director, manages all aspects of FoodShare finances, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. Manages accounts payable/receivable, oversees federal/state grant reporting, and collaborates with USC Development and Foundations Office for donor relations. Demonstrates commitment to compliance and ethics.
Responsibilities
Creates and manages the organizational budget, overseeing finance needs including accounts payable, purchasing, sales tax, and supervises accounts receivable.
Manages/monitors individual grant budgets, contributes to grant proposals, and provides reports on sponsor schedules and formats.
Contributes to department leadership committee, supervises Business Assistant, and assists with Fresh Food Box packing and distribution as required.
In consultation with Executive Director, creates and monitors organizational policies and procedures that guide day‑to‑day functions and ensures USC policy compliance.
Qualifications Minimum Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with USC accounting/bookkeeping software.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required).
Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
Willingness and ability to work in a team setting and dynamic environment.
Conducts business lawfully and ethically by adhering to compliance policies and regulations.
