Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Monroe clinic. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients
Effectively communicate with patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.
Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
Review and evaluate patient charts for data entry accuracy.
Work as a team to ensure efficient working environment and timely calls to patients and referral sources.
Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical services and medical terminology.
Answering phones
Patient registration/data entry
Scanning/faxing/other clerical duties
Collecting copays and patient balances
Patient scheduling – schedule management
Patient care assistance as needed
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of insurance benefits
Must be available to work Monday through Friday and potentially a few very early evenings.
