Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking aBusiness Development Manageron behalf of our client. This individual will drive business growth within the AEC market by identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships with new and existing clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-value solutions. The ideal candidate will bring technical understanding of the AEC space and a proven ability to win and manage accounts in both public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand client relationships across environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering markets.
Identify prospective clients and new business opportunities through research, networking, and industry engagement.
Build trusted partnerships with public agencies, developers, and corporate clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored service solutions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional associations to enhance visibility and drive new business.
Track opportunities, leads, and progress through CRM tools while maintaining accurate forecasting data.
Collaborate with internal leadership to prepare pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Provide market insight and feedback to leadership to support continuous improvement and strategy alignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with 5+ years of proven success in sales or business development roles.
Existing network of contacts within the Arizona AEC market strongly preferred.
Understanding of public agency procurement processes.
Experience with CRM tools or implementing new CRM systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a relationship-driven approach.
Additional Details:
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (flexible hours).
Direct-hire, permanent opportunity.
