Minimum Years of Experience required? 18 months PCU exp

RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
Experience with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central lines
Support within the Department:
CNA - ADLs, VS, FSBG, Telemetry/Masimo monitoring, assist with ADT.
Receptionist/HUC – Most day shifts – Call bell and phone call triage, assist with ADT
Charge nurse - mostly without patient assignment
IV/VAT Team
Resource Nurse, as staffing allows
RT 24/7Yes
Hospitalist 24/7 - a Mix of in person and Virtual
Telemetry monitoring/tech - Monitored at nurses station and in Central Bunker at AH Cleveland
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC
IV Pump: Alaris
Monitors: Phillips Telemetry
Unit specific equipment: Several fall prevention tools in use, multiple patient positioning tools in use
Floating:
Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other
No call
Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Stroke R/O, PNA, cellulitis, FTT, AMS, CP R/O, Afib, COPD, ect.
Patient Ratios:
RN: 1:5-1:6

RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
Essential nursing functions, teamwork, communication
Experience with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central lines
Support within the Department:

If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
