Assessing patient needs considering cultural, religious, and physical disabilities to determine capabilities for group and individual activities. Documenting patient responses to interventions and progress. Completing assessments timely and contributing to workload balance among therapists. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with familiarity with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred. Current unencumbered certification/license/registration as per state guidelines. CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of hire.
