Position Summary
Under general direction from the Slot Technical Supervisor, responsible for promoting a positive customer experience by repairing and monitoring the performance of slot machines to ensure the games are operational. Assist patrons and associates in resolving immediate problems such as jams, tilts, jackpots, player tracking online issues, and replace parts promptly and courteously following established policies, procedures, regulations, and ordinances.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that slot machines on the gaming floor are in proper working condition.
Diagnoses faulty equipment and makes the correct repairs.
Uses machine entry procedures to proactively identify or prevent future equipment problems.
Maintains proper documentation on repair logs, shift logs, lock and key logs, etc.
Uses equipment including hand tools, soldering tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Completes machine moves and other projects as assigned.
Answers customer questions and resolves immediate concerns including but not limited to tilts, jams, tickets, and jackpots, explains how the games are played, and retrieves change for customers.
Performs machine diagnostic tests to resolve customer concerns regarding questionable payouts and tickets.
Replaces parts on all slot and video machines including, but not limited to, I/O’s, CPU’s, motherboards, and processor boards.
Identifies, requests, and returns slot parts to inventory.
Sets machine limits, options, and parameters.
Assists in cleaning and maintenance of the slot areas and assists in maintaining inventory of supplies.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, in all areas, at all times.
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Monitors assigned section at all times.
Keeps guests informed on events and promotions scheduled at Table Mountain Casino.
Promotes the Player’s Club and all Casino-wide promotions.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as required.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, unless waived by Human Resources Management. Electronics equipment experience preferred. Experience working with slot machines and equipment preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a pre‑employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of hand tools, soldering tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
Knowledge of basic math and arithmetic.
Knowledge of occupational hazards, safe working practices, and safety precautions.
Knowledge of mechanical functions and play aspects of slot machines, procedures and Casino floor operations.
Knowledge of slot machines and the electronic data system hardware.
Knowledge of basic manual hand tool and repair methods.
Knowledge of electronic and mechanical troubleshooting methods and techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co‑workers at all levels.
Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Ability to work any shift.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods, walk and sit; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communication skills. Employee spends a significant amount of time twisting and turning with upper extremities extended across gaming table. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 250 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed in both indoors and outdoors where the employee may have frequent contact with the public and be exposed to second hand smoke, moderate/high noise levels, dirt, dust and unpleasant odors. Work may be performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit. Prolonged sitting, walking, or extended work hours including swing shifts, evenings, holidays and weekends may be required.
