Position Overview The University of Connecticut, School of Nursing, seeks applications for a full-time, 11-month Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor and Graduate Track Director for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership in curriculum planning for the graduate track.
Define course outcomes and develop assessment metrics.
Oversee faculty and student processes within the PMHNP track.
Assist with clinical placement and practice experiences.

The school collaborates with various research centers and offers a rich environment for scholarly activity.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD.
Unencumbered RN and APRN licensure in CT or eligible by hire date.
National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
At least 2 years of full-time teaching in higher education.
At least 2 years of experience as a certified APRN.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and exam blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in program and curriculum development, especially online education.
Proven teaching excellence and leadership in higher education.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to diversity and inclusive teaching practices.
Active involvement in professional organizations and curriculum development.
Appointment Details This is an 11-month, non-tenure track position, starting August 23, 2025, with primary duties at Storrs campus and potential regional campus involvement. Salary is commensurate with experience.
