Hillcrest Hospital’s 5 Seidman Renal Unit is a 24-bed unit providing care to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients requiring inpatient or observation care. Patients have renal, respiratory, cardiac, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. The unit also specializes in peritoneal dialysis and provides cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, nutritional support, diagnostic testing, and spiritual support. As an RN in this unit, you will help ensure patients receive timely care, with fellow caregivers providing a cohesive, encouraging environment to enhance patient experience and your nursing skills. How You’ll Benefit Professional growth through a one-year, accredited Nurse Residency program with nine tracks, including online modules, simulation lab, and hands-on training Industry-leading benefits, including RN Loan Repayment and Tuition Reimbursement; relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being prioritizes caregiver safety with incident reporting and safety resources Shift : Days, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. A caregiver in this position will: Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take action to reduce or prevent risk Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently Document in patients’ medical records Minimum qualifications

for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing Current state RN licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association New graduate or less than one year RN work experience, or moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience

Preferred qualifications
