Join the Summit Center as a Speech Language Pathologist. The Summit Center is Western New York’s leading provider of evidence‑based services for children and adults with autism and other developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Our team is dedicated to helping every individual we serve achieve their highest level of independence.
Position Details
Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Amherst and Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (37.5 hrs./week)
Pay: $65,000 annually for licensed SLPs. Sign‑on bonus available.
Type: Full‑time (Entry level)

Deliver services as mandated by Individualized Education Plans
Create and maintain all required documentation
Partner with educational/clinical teams for each student

Collaborate and effectively communicate with families
Track data and make data‑based decisions
Assess student progress on a regular basis
Manage behavioral challenges

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders and/or Sciences or Speech Language Pathology
NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or NYS Certified Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
