A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
to oversee large-scale commercial projects from planning through completion. manage and oversee a construction job site, coordinating subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards, managing schedules, and resolving issues to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Lead full-site operations from mobilization to final inspection, supervising all field personnel and subcontractors.
Scheduling: Organize and manage construction schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed by the deadline.
Safety & Quality Control: Enforce strict safety compliance and conduct audits, while also overseeing quality assurance and ensuring work conforms to plans and specifications.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve conflicts, delays, and discrepancies with minimal escalation.
Coordination: Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, designers, and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Resource Management: Manage site logistics, including ordering supplies, and ensure that field crews have the necessary resources and information.
Reporting: Document project progress, produce daily logs, and approve progress reports and change requests.
Qualifications:
10 years of experience
in the construction industry
10 years of experience
in commercial construction
Proven track record overseeing large-scale, ground-up commercial projects
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Deep understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and quality control practices
