Ensure effective communication with customers, product and project managers, and team members regarding customer requirements, operator operation, and schedule planning while managing multiple projects. Support part manufacturing and machine assembly for multiple projects. Train other Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Techs. Requirements: BSME degree. 5+ years experience preferred. Experience in automotive industry machine design is desirable. Knowledge of basic machine design disciplines and practices. Ability to perform complex analysis and calculations with assistance from a Level III Mechanical Engineer. Ability to run FEA on structural components. Create 3D models of working machines. Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor & SolidWorks preferred). Experience with 2D CAD for machine layout. Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to create and detail mechanical print sets. Understanding of GD&T. Ability to create and maintain bills of material. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Effective communication skills, tact, and diplomacy. Willingness to travel domestically (5-10%). Seniority level
