This position requires mechanical inclination or prior vehicle repair training, a willingness to learn, and an interest in a stable career with growth opportunities. Responsibilities

Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers. Using Penske\'s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics. Performing preventative maintenance repairs such as replacing or rotating tires, lubrication and replacement of vehicle components, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles. Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske\'s technician training and hands-on coaching. Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. Why Penske is for You

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) Valid driver\'s license Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team and outside Basic computer skills Ability to understand and comply with Penske instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices Regular, predictable full attendance For driving Penske and customer vehicles, a current driver qualification file is required (MVR checks, DOT Physical, Safety History as applicable); CDL holders may require DOT Drug Screening and FMCSA Clearinghouse review Willingness to work the required schedule, location, and to undergo background checks, drug screen, and required training with possible near-geographic travel Physical Requirements

Move frequently; stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods Use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel and operate tools Work safely at heights with ladders and elevated platforms Work in all weather conditions Ability to see and hear to navigate the work environment Regularly lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg Pay and Schedule

Pay: $22.75 per hour Hours: Friday–Monday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm or Friday–Monday, 12:30 pm – 11:00 pm Shift Differentials: Second shift start after 11:00 am eligible for $2.00/hr; third shift start after 9:00 pm eligible for $3.00/hr Penske benefits
