Product Development Coordinator

$70,000-$85,000/annual w/annual bonus of up to 10% Benefits:

Comprehensive package including PTO, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and professional development support Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Customer Support Coordinate new or revised packaging and graphic projects from design initiation through press approval and production readiness Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal departments for print-related changes, ensuring alignment on all production specifications Communicate project timelines, requirements, and updates clearly across departments to ensure on-time and in-spec launches Support and schedule customer press approvals and manage color matching and tooling readiness Ensure documentation of all production and testing materials is accurate and properly filed Technical Oversight Review and prepare print-ready artwork and production files, including optimal print sequencing, trapping, and overprint adjustments Collaborate with operations and prepress teams to maintain the integrity of customer graphics and color standards Evaluate tooling and print requirements; estimate and manage investments for new projects Oversee the creation and approval of new inks and color standards as needed Quality & Cost Control Maximize the reuse of existing tooling and cylinders to control costs while maintaining quality standards Monitor and document the life cycle of tooling and print components to inform decisions around reuse or replacement Approve vendor invoices and manage vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and service on tooling and production equipment Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including production, quality, and sales teams Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in product development processes Assist other sites and teams in aligning graphic functions and optimizing production consistency across locations Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field Minimum of 5 years' experience managing packaging or print-related projects, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); basic Adobe Illustrator skills Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience leading technical conversations Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail Preferred Skills & Attributes Experience with printing processes such as offset, gravure, foil stamping, and die cutting Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external customers Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles Working knowledge of prepress and color management systems Physical Demands & Work Environment Regular sitting, standing, and walking required Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Use of fine motor skills and close/distance vision for computer and print inspection work Some domestic and international travel may be required Let’s Connect: If you're an organized, solution-focused professional who enjoys managing technical projects and seeing products come to life, we’d love to hear from you.
