Multiple, open rank, tenure‑track/tenured faculty positions in Biomedical Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington. We are inviting applications for multiple tenure‑track/tenured faculty positions at all ranks (assistant, associate, or full professor) to join Intelligent Systems Engineering, or other departments such as Computer Science and Informatics within the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. We welcome candidates specializing in experimental, translational, computational, and/or AI research who are developing engineering systems, technologies, and platforms. Candidates with interests related to biomedical imaging, human centered models and systems, and precision medicine and biomedical data are especially welcome. Areas of Interest (examples, not exhaustive)

Imaging and Biomedical Devices: advanced imaging technologies, neuroimaging, optical imaging, ultrasonic imaging, multimodal imaging, wearable sensors, point‑of‑care diagnostics, biosensors, microfluidic biosensing, image‑guided intervention systems, digital health, real‑time monitoring, data integration and analysis. Human Centered Models and Systems: organoids, organ‑on‑chip, microphysiological systems, 3D bioprinting, biofabrication, multi‑organ models, high‑content screening systems, digital twins, computational modelling, AI‑driven physiological modelling, data integration, NAMs. Precision Medicine and Biomedical Data: spatial omics, CRISPR, epigenetics, biomarkers, personalized therapy design, clinical decision support, longitudinal health data, multi‑omics analysis, AI for diagnostics, privacy‑preserving data sharing. Candidates should complement Indiana University’s strengths in synthetic biology, chemical biology, biohealth informatics, robotics, nanoengineering & microelectronics, and toxicology. Entrepreneurial activity is encouraged. Responsibilities

Research Excellence: Develop and maintain a recognized research program, secure external funding, lead as a principal investigator, and collaborate across disciplines. Teaching and Mentorship: Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to the student experience. Service and Engagement: Contribute to department, school, and university service and engage with professional and local communities. These are full‑time 10‑month appointments based at the IUB campus in Bloomington. Faculty are expected to work on campus to engage with the department, school, campus, and community. Qualifications

Doctoral degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, biophysics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, biomedical science, medicine, computer science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Candidates should demonstrate rank‑appropriate achievements in research, teaching, and service. Application Procedure
