Roadway Engineer

Responsibilities Design highway transportation facilities, including roadway, structures, drainage, utilities, and traffic/MOT items. Lead and review work of project teams; monitor progress; identify scope changes and additional services. Coordinate workload and staffing with other project managers. Collaborate on regionally significant transportation projects. Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, conduct studies, and support project execution. Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Lead project meetings and client communications. Participate in project scoping, fee estimation, and proposals. Pursue growth opportunities as a Project Manager for transportation projects. Manage client and sub-consultant relationships. Qualifications 8+ years of roadway and highway design experience. B.S. in Civil Engineering and licensed as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain license within six months. Experience with UDOT transportation projects required; experience with other agencies is a plus. Ability to prepare and coordinate full PS&E packages for approval and construction.
