in Omaha, NE. In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, we deliver HVAC design solutions for data centers, electric vehicle manufacturing, and other markets. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages. Base pay range

$76,700.00/yr - $100,650.00/yr Your impact

You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Work with a multi-discipline team to establish process design basis, develop optimized process, create calculations, and generate process drawings. Responsibilities

Layout and design of HVAC systems for various types of clients, including electric vehicles, data centers, and heavy industrial facilities. Development of the design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort heating/cooling, precise temperature/humidity control, special pressurization or clean room requirements. Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, with sizing calculations, P&IDs, and general arrangements. Layout of ductwork systems based on P&IDs. Development of final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, piping layout, and final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water. Coordination with other disciplines. Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality outcomes and grow professionally. Requirements

4+ years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other disciplines remotely. Preferred

Professional Engineering License. Software experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in design of plumbing/utility systems. Benefits and working arrangements
