Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all on‑site subcontractor activities in compliance with the CPM schedule and subcontract requirements.

Coordinate site access and implement the Project Construction Execution Plan.

Supervise and mentor superintendents; monitor their activities and provide leadership.

Report on construction productivity and schedule performance to the Site Manager and Field Project Controls Manager.

Take actions to meet project budget and schedule requirements; direct subcontractor schedule recovery plans as needed.

Coordinate construction completion walkdowns and the hand‑over of start‑up packages to the Startup Manager.

Assist the Site Manager with client interface and relations.

Review and approve T&M construction contractor equipment; coordinate shared use of equipment.

Participate in monthly contractor management meetings; conduct meetings as needed.

Maintain weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and manage schedule and commodity installation status.

Monitor and manage subordinates’ progress, change orders, and payment requests.

Adhere to safety, quality, ethical standards, lessons learned, and performance management programs.

Provide timely responses to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and complete the construction punch list.

Act as Safety Representative on site when necessary and support safety and quality issue resolution.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of construction technology (Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, Circulating Fluidized Bed, Nuclear) and EPC industry.

Constructability knowledge; understanding of project budget process and tools.

Experience with Project controls, risk assessment/management, and construction project management systems.

Leadership and conflict management skills; ability to build, coach, and mentor teams.

Strong communication, presentation, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.

Proficiency with project management tools and expense reporting systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.

14+ years of construction supervisory experience; at least 3 years as a construction manager.

OSHA training required.

Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screening.

Certifications OSHA Training

Work Environment and Physical Demands Typical construction site environment. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, kneeling, bending, and walking long distances. Physical demands include repetitive movements, work above 5 feet in height, climbing steel frameworks, ladders, and scaffolding, and working long shifts in varying temperature extremes. Exposure to hazardous equipment, dust, wind, snow, and other weather conditions.
