Description
Structural Engineer I at HFA – multidisciplinary design firm based in Fayetteville, AR. Salary range $90,000 – $130,000. Full‑time entry level, supervised by the EOR or Project Structural Engineer.
Responsibilities
Lead a small client team or small projects, or portions of large projects using structural analysis and design in concrete, steel, wood, cold‑formed steel, and masonry.
Develop construction documents, AutoCAD and Revit drafting, and specification editing.
Perform quality‑control reviews, construction administration, and client communication.
Use structural design software (RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, RAM Concept) to apply design outputs.
Assist in budget establishment and project budget compliance.
Qualifications
BS in Civil, Structural, or a related ABET‑accredited program. MS preferred.
Professional Licensed Engineer (PE) required.
Strong understanding of national code standards and structural design practices.
Experience with structural software and drafting tools.
Independent work capability and ability to collaborate with architects and other engineers.
