precision machining team
in Sacramento, California. This position is ideal for machinists skilled in
CNC mills, CNC lathes, and CNC programming
using software like
Surfcam and Mastercam . Our team works on high-precision components across various industries. Pay Ranges
CNC Machinist II:
$27.00 – $34.00 per hour CNC Machinist III:
$33.00 – $40.00 per hour Key Responsibilities
CNC Machinist II (Intermediate CNC Setup & Operation)
Set up, operate, and program CNC machines (mills and lathes). Edit and optimize existing CNC programs for efficiency. Design custom fixtures, select cutting tools, and calculate feeds and speeds. Train and mentor entry-level machinists. Provide time and material estimates for CNC machining projects.
CNC Machinist III (Advanced CNC Programming & Machining)
Independently execute complex CNC machining strategies. Collaborate with project managers to scope and quote CNC jobs. Troubleshoot advanced CNC machining issues. Mentor CNC Machinist I and II team members. Experience with true 5-axis CNC machining preferred.
Required Qualifications
CNC Machinist II:
2+ years of CNC experience with strong programming knowledge. CNC Machinist III:
3+ years of advanced CNC machining and programming experience. High School Diploma or GED required; a machining degree or certification is a plus. Proficiency in
Surfcam, Mastercam, and ERP systems
preferred. Work Environment
Standing and walking for extended periods in a
precision machining shop . Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs. (team lifting for heavier items). Exposure to moderate-to-high noise, metalworking fumes, and machine vibrations. PPE provided. Why Work With Us?
