Our client, a Tier 1 automotive supplier, in the greater Indianapolis, IN area, is seeking candidates for the position of
Production Planner . This position works day shift, Monday - Friday. Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Preparing daily and weekly production schedules based on forecast requirements and company inventory guidelines Analyzing and forecasting material requirements for JIT deliveries, placing orders with approved vendors, expediting the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining inventory levels within prescribed goals Utilizing lean principles to achieve continuous improvement of the planning and scheduling process Coordinate with Purchasing Department related to materials usage Verifying BOMs Assist with monthly and annual physical inventories Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or other related area Three years of experience with manufacturing scheduling techniques and methodologies Preferred Qualifications
Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience preferred MRP knowledge APICS certification preferred Salary and Benefits
