Monday - Friday 6am- 3:30pm or Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
Average Pay Range:
$29 - $34hr - pay will be determined by experience and certifications

Pay Range: 29.00-34.00 per_hour, General Benefits: Perks for Working with NFI: Career training & development opportunities ASE Certification reimbursement & assist with study materials Apprenticeship Program Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 paid out within the first 90 days of employment Dedicated internal company fleet NFI maintains all major tools 401(K) with company match PTO accrued on day one of employment - estimated 13 days per year Paid Holidays - 8 days per year Medical, Dental, RX, Vision, Disability, & Life Insurance Parental Leave according to FMLA state guidelines Boot Allowance Program Uniform & all safety PPE provided Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
To Become Part Of The NFI Team You
Must have a valid driver's license Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license Technical or advanced degree or 4-7 years of equivalent maintenance experience Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills. On-site evaluation with recommended training
