Diesel Technician role at NFI. Location: Minooka, IL. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. To Become Part Of The NFI Team You Must have a valid driver's license Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license Technical or advanced degree or 2-3 years of equivalent maintenance experience Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills On-site evaluation with recommended training Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines Physically capable to perform all job duties, including lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more, standing or lying for extended periods, and flexible movement to reach equipment Qualifications
Valid driver\'s license required Preferred Class B license Technical or advanced degree or 2-3 years of equivalent maintenance experience Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment (JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, Windows) Strong problem-solving skills Good teamwork and customer service skills, with clear communication On-site evaluation with recommended training Benefits
