Retail Operations Manager – Midas - Detroit
Join us as a Retail Operations Manager at Midas - Detroit, a family‑owned multi‑unit tire & auto service retailer founded in 2013. In this 100% performance‑based role, you will oversee the overall operations of a fast‑paced tire and automotive service facility.
Base Pay Range $85,000.00/yr – $145,000.00/yr (plus commission)
Responsibilities
Write and review repair orders, estimates, and inspections.
Dispatch and prioritize jobs to ensure each vehicle is inspected & presented within 45 minutes.
Sell recommended services and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Train and manage Service Advisors, CSRs, and Technicians.
Monitor KPIs such as technician productivity, first‑time fix rate, and service time.
Conduct meetings, set goals, and drive sales performance.
Control expenses (parts, labor, warranty claims, comebacks).
Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor returns.
Oversee compliance, safety, and shop appearance.
Achieve monthly targets for Gross Profit, Tires, Financing, Car Count, etc.
Qualifications
3–5 years of automotive retail sales and/or management experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license.
Base salary (guaranteed) plus commission pay.
