The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma, and those at risk to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for a QIDP Operations Manager - Aurora who exemplifies that mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference. There is a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions. Position Schedule: M-F, evenings, weekends, and holidays with weekend on-call rotation. What will you be doing?

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of up to 7 Community Living locations. Assure that all aspects of community living comply with DHS, HCBS, and CARF standards as well as agency policies and procedures. Ensure that physical environments are safe, clean, and accessible for clients and staff. Responsible for the hiring, training, ongoing supervision, and performance evaluation of Direct Support Professional staff at assigned locations. Responsible for monitoring program budgets and expenditures to ensure programs operate in a fiscally responsible manner. Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, professional, and safe environment for clients and staff to live, learn, and work. Expected to participate in direct service as needed. Requires on-call responsibilities to assure quality services 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. During the standard work week, responsible for responding to their assigned sites; weekends are handled via an on-call rotation. May have some work components that can be performed remotely. Remote work arrangements are discretionary and subject to demonstrated performance and operational needs. Essential Job Responsibilities

Ensure that assigned program locations are adequately staffed to support clients according to supervision and support needs and licensure requirements; prioritize coverage needs in urgent or emergent situations. Screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates for Direct Support Professional (DSP) roles. Complete competency-based training assessments and on-the-job training with all regular and substitute staff, including procedures, client interaction, documentation, and shift responsibilities. Provide additional required information and training as needed. Complete staff schedules for assigned program locations; manage PTO requests and ensure schedules comply with agency policies. Review and approve time records and expenses in Paycom; monitor accuracy and adherence to time and attendance procedures; report any suspected fraudulent activity to the Program Director. Monitor staff compliance with all training requirements; prevent ineligible staff from engaging in work activities and report concerns immediately. Provide ongoing guidance and training to Direct Support Professionals to ensure proper client programming, documentation, safety, rights, and confidentiality standards. Provide ongoing supervision and feedback; complete performance evaluations for staff within 60 days of hire and at least annually. Draft and present corrective counseling documents as needed and maintain records of discussions and documentation. Lead monthly staff meetings; document attendance and minutes and maintain documentation per procedure. Ensure adequate food, safety, household, and sanitary supplies; order through procurement procedures and monitor purchases to avoid excess stock and stay within budget. Monitor and maximize LINK benefit usage and complete related documentation. Monitor spending, code expenses to budget line items, and prepare purchase orders; consult with Program Director for purchases exceeding budgeted amounts. Ensure accurate billing documentation; input client census and additional supports billing; review reports to ensure budgeted income is captured and address rejections promptly. Monitor conditions to minimize financial losses (overtime, injuries, property misuse, etc.). Assist in developing program budgets by estimating expenses for furnishings, client activities, facilities, and accessibility needs. Monitor program locations’ physical environments; coordinate work orders, repairs, replacements, and inspections as required by licensure. Collect, report, and utilize program safety data; maintain documentation per procedure. Ensure ongoing training in safety topics and disaster response and maintain documentation per licensure requirements. Support clients in establishing Household Guidelines and maintain feedback and documentation per procedure. Attend service planning meetings as required; participate in Implementation Strategies per licensure timelines. Coordinate Health, Behavioral Intervention, Community Day, Behavioral Health, Employment, and other services based on client needs and licensure requirements. Coordinate leisure and recreation activities and ensure staff coverage and transportation. Collaborate with clinical staff to develop action plans for client emergencies or critical needs. Provide direct service to clients as assigned and cross-train for coverage as needed. Physically assist clients as needed and provide transportation using personal or agency vehicles as required. Obtain and maintain medication administration authorization; perform med passes and minimize errors; attend required trainings. Lead by example in Home and Community Based Settings rules and practices. Consult with Program Director on proposed changes before implementation. Attend and participate in meetings, events, and trainings; communicate schedule conflicts to supervisor. Exercise sound judgment in emergencies and incidents; follow agency policies and complete required reporting. Collaborate with clinical staff to implement plans during client emergencies or critical needs (Monday–Friday). What will we provide
