You will be responsible for
Ensuring high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café
Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays
Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
What you will do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions and payments; locate merchandise; resolve member issues.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; motivate and train others; support a respectful, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred: Food Service experience; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety)
