You will make an impact by helping ensure high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café; maintaining a clean and sanitized area; and delivering friendly member service. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, stock displays, and ensure products are fresh and available in the café. Maintain cleanliness, proper temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products. Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and assist members with purchasing decisions and questions. Be a Team Member: maintain knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, and adapt to the needs of the business. Be an Expert: follow food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology for production, ordering, and training. Be an Owner: manage area performance, stocking, rotating merchandise, quality and date control, and assist members with needs and questions. Complies with company policies and ethics standards and applies them in daily work. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred. Strong customer service focus and ability to work in a fast-paced café environment. Ability to adapt to change and work in different scenarios; team-oriented with a positive attitude. Preferred but not required: experience with fresh food and basic food preparation.
