Multi-Unit Team Leader

– lead three tax offices and guide customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. This role is in-person and requires travel between offices.
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Compensation: $70,000.00–$80,000.00
Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives for three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season; from January to April, transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (where applicable).
Qualifications
Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or other related industries.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth plans and foster a growth-oriented culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs.
Computer proficiency in MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
Ability to travel between offices as needed.
