Position Summary What you'll do Be a Team Member — Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service. Be an Expert — Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications and seasonality; demonstrates knowledge of Point of Sale systems and selling techniques both in-person and over the phone. Be a Techie — Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Be an Owner — Manages equipment, tools, and supplies; tracks returns and special orders; operates cash registers; maintains inventory accuracy, safety, and compliance standards; reports complaints or hazards; completes paperwork and documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per policy; assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues. Be a Talent Ambassador — Acts as a brand advocate, models high quality service, develops and mentors others, and fosters a respectful, team-oriented environment; understands roadblocks and assists in training team members. Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; applies open-door policy in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and adapts to change.
