A nationally ranked general contractor is looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead mission-critical projects and commercial projects in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on large-scale, MEP-intensive facilities—particularly hyperscale data centers—where system performance is critical and execution precision is non-negotiable. This position is ideal for a technically skilled project manager who thrives in complex environments and has a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination on fast-track construction projects. Key Responsibilities

MEP Project Execution:

Manage the lifecycle of MEP scopes from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring systems are delivered on time and to spec. Coordination & Integration:

Oversee BIM coordination, clash detection, and installation of mission-critical systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, and CRAC units. Trade Management:

Lead MEP trade partners and interface with field superintendents to maintain alignment between design intent and field execution. Schedule & Budget Oversight:

Monitor project timelines, forecast impacts, and control costs related to MEP workstreams. Client & Consultant Liaison:

Serve as the point of contact for client-side engineering teams, third-party commissioning agents, and utility providers. Qualifications

7+ years of construction project management experience with at least 4 years focused on mission-critical or MEP-heavy projects Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in data center or healthcare settings Experience with BIM, Procore, and commissioning platforms Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Why This Role?
