As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Your expertise will cover speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing improvements. Key responsibilities include: Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments, observations, and diagnostic tools to identify communication challenges and determine severity, leading to accurate diagnoses. Treatment Planning and Intervention:
Develop personalized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions targeting speech production, language comprehension, social skills, voice quality, and swallowing. Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement various therapy techniques such as articulation drills, language exercises, cognitive tasks, voice therapy, and fluency strategies, providing personalized feedback to support progress. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
Assess and implement AAC systems for individuals with severe communication impairments, collaborating with patients and caregivers to customize solutions. Dysphagia Management:
Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through assessments, exercises, strategies, and diet modifications to ensure safe swallowing and nutritional intake. Qualifications
Master's Degree in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current license/certification in the state of practice Keywords: CCC-SLP, Clinical, Therapy for Language Disorders, Articulation, Aphasia, Swallowing Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Communication, Fluency.
