As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Your role includes: Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues using standardized tests, observations, and diagnostic tools to determine the nature and severity of communication challenges. Treatment Planning and Intervention:
Create personalized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve communication and swallowing functions. Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement therapy techniques such as articulation drills, language exercises, voice therapy, fluency strategies, and management protocols, providing feedback to support skill development. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
Assess and implement AAC systems for individuals with severe communication impairments, collaborating with patients and families for optimal solutions. Dysphagia Management:
Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through assessments, exercises, diet modifications, and rehabilitation to ensure safe swallowing and nutritional intake. Qualifications
Qualifications include: Master's Degree in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current license/certification in the state of practice Keywords: CCC-SLP, Clinical, Therapy, Language Disorder, Articulation, Aphasia, Swallowing Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Communication, Fluency.
