As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Your role involves improving speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing skills. Your primary responsibilities include: Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments, observations, and diagnostic tools to identify communication challenges and determine severity, leading to accurate diagnoses. Treatment Planning and Intervention:
Create personalized treatment plans and deliver therapy using evidence-based techniques to address speech production, language comprehension, social communication, voice, and swallowing. Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement interventions like articulation drills, language exercises, voice therapy, fluency strategies, and management protocols, providing personalized feedback to support skill development. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
Assess the need for AAC devices and collaborate with patients and families to implement and customize solutions that enhance communication. Dysphagia Management:
Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through assessments, exercises, diet modifications, and rehabilitation to ensure safe swallowing and nutritional intake. Qualifications
Master's Degree in an accredited Speech Language Pathology program Current license/certification in the state of practice Keywords: CCC-SLP, Clinical, Therapy Language Disorder, Articulation, Aphasia, Swallowing Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Communication, Fluency. TMC is an equal opportunity employer.
