Shift Differential:

$2/hr shift differential (Monday-Thursday Nights)

$3/hr shift differential (Friday-Sunday Nights)

$2/hr shift differential (Saturday-Sunday Days)

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the safety of individuals and staff.

Take vitals and assist individuals in meeting their needs on the unit while providing exceptional customer service.

Document services and significant interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Conduct security screening and inventory property of individuals upon admission; provide orientation to the Observation Unit and Short‑term Inpatient Unit; educate patients on their rights under ADHS regulations, grievance process, expectations, and rules.

Intervene with escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques for de‑escalation, perform restraints/seclusions when needed to ensure safety, and complete 1‑to‑1 on a patient in seclusion or mechanical restraints Q15.

Lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.

Assist individuals with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring).

Conduct and document vitals, report questionable results, and document all BAL, urine drug screens, and urine pregnancy tests.

Attend court‑ordered hearings and provide testimony when subpoenaed.

Document all services and significant interactions in the EHR; monitor and document patients Q15.

Maintain cleanliness of the facility and assigned unit; perform light cleaning, collect soiled linen, launder clothing as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field.

Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Company has a mandatory vaccination policy; all successful applicants must be fully vaccinated or be exempt pursuant to the company’s exemption process before the start date.

It would be great if you had:

Certified training (Safe Clinch, CPR First Aid, therapeutic options, etc.).

Completion of CNA or Patient Care Tech program.

Two years of experience in behavioral health.

Completion of BHT certification.
