Named Account Manager-Healthcare WA/OR/ID
Role overview and responsibilities focused on managing named healthcare accounts and expanding Proofpoint’s footprint in the healthcare sector within WA, OR, and Boise, ID. Role Overview
Manage 20 – 30 named healthcare accounts with a mix of white space and existing customers. Work with our partner community to access white space accounts while upselling and cross-selling within the current book of business. Sell the full Proofpoint Platform while collaborating with internal and external ecosystem partners. Develop account plans for each named account and identify add-on opportunities. Become a subject matter expert on the Proofpoint value proposition and how we compare to the competition. The role reports to the Named Account Sales Leader. Responsibilities
Develop and execute account plans for named accounts with a focus on forecast accuracy and Salesforce hygiene. Engage with customers and partners to break into new accounts and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Maintain ongoing engagement with existing accounts and manage renewals while educating customers on the Proofpoint roadmap. Demonstrate value through quarterly Customer Business Reviews and coordinate internal/external resources to deliver solutions. Organize business processes with accurate forecasting and clear Salesforce reporting. Collaborate with team members to achieve overall team success through result-driven activity. Qualifications
The What Minimum 7-10 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions or related field, managing medium to large accounts in Healthcare. Experience selling into healthcare systems, payors, or medical manufacturing; existing relationships with major health systems in the territory. Proven track record of success and experience working with Channel Partners and two-tier distribution. Experience developing complex, multi-product, multi-year proposals and presenting focused on customer needs while delivering solution value. Ability to identify customer business drivers and practice use case / business value selling. Strong coordination skills to quarterback multiple internal and external resources while aligning with various personalities and priorities. Residence in WA or OR or Boise, ID. The How Strong field sales background selling complex cybersecurity solutions to healthcare accounts; 7-10+ years preferred. Ability to cultivate relationships with C-suite (CISO, CIO, CMO, etc.) and drive executive-level conversations.
