Role overview Manage up to 20 named healthcare accounts (range from mid- to large-scale) with both white space and existing customers. Collaborate with our partner community to gain access to white space accounts, upsell and cross-sell within the incumbent book of business. Help healthcare systems enhance their security posture while supporting the broader goal of improving community wellbeing. Sell the full Proofpoint Platform, working with internal and external ecosystem partners to expand footprint and market leadership while protecting customers from advanced threats and targeted attacks. The Named Account Manager reports to the Named Account Sales Leader. Responsibilities Develop account plans for each named account and identify add-on opportunities within the incumbent book of business. Become a subject matter expert on the Proofpoint platform and how it compares to the competition. Utilize existing networks, creativity, and marketing to break into new accounts and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Maintain accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene; manage renewals and communicate the Proofpoint roadmap. Conduct quarterly Customer Business Reviews to demonstrate value. Qualifications and requirements Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions or a related field, managing medium to large accounts. Experience selling into healthcare systems, payors, or medical manufacturing; background selling to enterprise healthcare audiences (e.g., CISO, CIO, CMO). Proven track record of success; experience with channel partners and two-tier distribution. Ability to develop complex, multi-product, multi-year proposals; strong presentation and customer-value selling skills. Excellent prospecting, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external resources. Why Proofpoint?
