Night shift, 10‑hour shift, 7 on 7 off

Summary Ensures the safe, efficacious, and cost‑effective preparation and use of medications. Conducts the practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and hospital policy and procedures. Participates in ongoing evaluations to ensure quality patient care. Works well within a team environment; accepts and offers honest and constructive feedback; supports team goals and encourages other team members; and collaborates with patient care team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods to reduce costs if necessary. Shows flexibility and adaptability in meeting environmental constraints and demands placed on services as is common with changing reimbursement and managed care targets.
Formal Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree or Pharm D in pharmacy
Current Licensure in the State of Ohio
Experience And Training Required
Working knowledge of pharmacy law
Dexterity to operate a computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment; to manipulate fine instruments; and prepare pharmaceutical entities in minute proportions.
Other Skills, Competencies And Qualifications
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacists, nurses, technical physicians, and other healthcare personnel
Must maintain confidentiality of patient and department records
Ability to self‑direct to execute responsibilities within a team structure.
Population‑specific competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self‑respect and dignity

Salary Range:
$60.00/hr – $72.00/hr (base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.)
