Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatments and assisting in waterproofing application and work. Supervisory Responsibilities
N/A Duties/Responsibilities
Perform waterproofing & restoration work. Conduct leak investigations, water testing, and repairs for water infiltration. Install waterproofing treatments using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practices. Assist in waterproofing applications and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating products. Perform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structures. Access work areas that may require the use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chairs to reach heights, with training provided. Perform integrity and troubleshooting tests to identify breaches or defects in waterproofing membranes or coatings. Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are in working order and arrange replacements as needed. Adhere to health and safety practices and procedures. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, building, trade, fire, and construction codes, and company policies. Required Skills/Abilities
High physical fitness and endurance, including lifting objects up to 25kg. Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Professionalism in waterproofing work. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours. Valid driver’s license (advantageous). Knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, and coating materials is a plus. Education and Experience
0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or related fields. Physical Requirements
Work outdoors in various weather conditions. May contact hazardous materials. Occasional safety procedures when working at heights. This description is not exhaustive and duties may change. Job type: Full-time. Benefits
