We are seeking an experienced

Field Service Technician

to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of heavy earthmoving equipment and attachments. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on a wide range of machinery including but not limited to compactors, dozers, excavators, loader backhoes, motor graders, off-highway trucks, trenchers, and wheel loaders.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs of earthmoving equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair systems efficiently to minimize parts costs and equipment downtime.

Service and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as compactors, excavators, dozers, trenchers, motor graders, and more.

Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as manufacturers’ operator, parts, and service manuals.

Collaborate with service teams and management to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.

Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.

Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols during field operations.

Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs, status, and recommendations clearly with clients.

Requirements

Experience working with large earthmoving equipment is required.

Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Familiarity with Tier 3 and Tier 4 diesel engines is highly desirable.

Experience with OEM equipment, particularly Terex, Cummins, Scania, SANY, Rokbak, and Liugong, is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as technical manuals.

Ability to work independently in the field.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Basic computer skills and experience with diagnostic software are a plus.
