Tool & Die Maker – Day Shift
Location: Elroy, WI. Full‑time Direct Hire. Day shift Monday‑Thursday 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (currently 5‑8 hours overtime on Fridays). Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and design schematics Visualize and calculate metal shapes, dimensions, and tolerances Design and create jigs, fixtures, and templates to support fabrication Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal stock to precise specifications Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including drills, lathes, grinders, milling machines, presses, and CNC equipment File, grind, shim, and finish metals to meet tolerance and surface requirements Fit and assemble tools, dies, and components Inspect completed tools and dies for accuracy, finish, and defects Conduct test runs to ensure tooling and dies function properly Schedule

$25/hour for recent graduates $32‑$33/hour for experienced professionals What You’ll Bring
Trade school certificate or degree in Tool & Die Making (or related field) Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker Strong knowledge of machining and metalworking processes Proficiency with drills, milling machines, grinders, presses, CNCs, and lathes Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics Experience with quality control and precision measurement tools Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
