Job Description

Mechanical Engineer responsible for electrical/mechanical high-level concept design, translating requirements into design specifications, development, testing, manufacturability, and serviceability. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Identifying functional requirements and use-cases for new features and projects, including integration with other products. Understanding customer needs related to workflows and module-level issues. Contributing to project charters, risk management plans, iterative development plans, and design review outcomes. Leading projects at the new features/modules level, with support for cross-product or cross-department initiatives. Translating functional requirements into user-centered designs, considering user capabilities, limitations, and tasks. Creating designs within the constraints of technical architecture, available tools, standards, and display principles. Writing requirements, use cases, and specifications that comply with industry and company standards. Driving usability testing cycles. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 3-7 years of relevant work experience. Experience in machine design (professional or educational). Proficiency with CREO/Pro-E. Understanding of materials, properties, and manufacturing processes. Desired Qualifications

Experience with Automatic Transfer Switches design. Familiarity with Windchill. Knowledge of Pro-Mechanism. Additional Information
