Position Responsibilities: Uses CAD modeling tools for layout, modeling, and detailing of after-treatment subsystems, components, and interface structures; designs that meet criteria and standards. Supports drawing quality reviews. Applies Design for Six Sigma principles and tools as appropriate. Performs and documents Dimensional Variation Analysis. Participates in FMEA process. Provides product definition information in the product release system. Investigates and resolves hardware problems, implements corrective actions. Provides technical expertise supporting CAD and develops product specification practices. Evaluates and implements Product Change Requests. Initiates engineering releases adhering to standards. Represents the company to customers, suppliers, and agencies. Interacts effectively across all levels of the organization and outside resources. Exercises independent decision-making and planning. Performs problem-solving, technical analysis (e.g., CFD, FEA), and hands-on activities. Coordinates planning, scheduling, and tracking of programs. Checks work from design resources. Adapts to changing work needs and undertakes new tasks. Follows safety policies and maintains confidentiality. Manages own work with a flexible schedule to meet priorities. Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1-4 years of mechanical design experience, with at least one year in Creo and ProE-Wildfire. Preferred knowledge in PLM, Windchill, or similar systems. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Candidates must have their Bachelor's degree completed; candidates out of college will be considered. Position is initially 6 months, with potential extension based on performance. Additional Information
